The MGEX 1/100 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is a Master Grade Extreme release based on Kira Yamato's iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Widely regarded as the definitive Strike Freedom kit, the MGEX brings the suit to life with a metallic gold inner frame, chrome-finish gold parts throughout the structure, and an extensive feature set centered around the suit's signature HiMAT Mode wings and DRAGOON system.

Kit features include:

- Eye cameras buildable with either opaque metallic or clear color parts
- Cockpit hatch opens to reveal the included 1/100 Kira Yamato pilot figurine (seated)
- Fully articulated poseable hands with individual finger movement
- Wings unfold into HiMAT Mode; each individual wing section slides out for full expansion
- All 8 DRAGOON Beam Assault Cannons are detachable from the wings and backpack for individual display
- Both High-energy Beam Rifles store on the side waist in transformed storage mode; combine together to form a Long-range Beam Rifle
- Railguns on the side waist armor transform into attack mode; flip up to avoid interference with leg articulation
- Beam Sabers removable from the railgun and waist armors for handheld use; can be coupled together into a twin-edge beam saber
- Beam Shield effect connects to the generator on either arm via parts rearrangement
- Compatible with the included Action Base 1 and specialized adapter
