The MG 1/100 RX-78FRGMT Gundam is a Premium Bandai limited release created to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series, in collaboration with fragment - the design project of Hiroshi Fujiwara. Supervised directly by Hiroshi Fujiwara, this kit reimagines the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam through the lens of fragment's signature aesthetic, delivering a modern and refined take on one of Gundam's most recognizable units.

The kit features a dark gray color scheme characteristic of fragment's design language, along with newly molded shield parts that replace the EFSF cross with the iconic lightning FRGMT symbol. Originally debuted at the fragment x Gundam collaboration grand launch event at concept store VA in Omotesando, Tokyo, before becoming available through lottery sales on the Premium Bandai website.

Special features include:
