Gundam - MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0

The MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0 is a landmark Master Grade release that brought the iconic First Gundam up to 2008 MG standards in proportion, poseability, and detailing. Closely based on Kunio Okawara's original line art from the 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam television series, this kit features a newly developed inner frame capable of more dynamic and realistic poses than any previous MG release of the RX-78-2.

The transformable Core Fighter can dock inside the Gundam's torso to become its cockpit, just as seen in the show. The inner frame is ingeniously designed to ensure the suit's articulation is not restricted even with the Core Fighter docked.

Kit features include:

- Double-sided ball-joint neck for expressive head movement
- Shoulder joints that pull out for additional front and upward articulation range
- Double-jointed elbows and knees for deep posing capability
- 3+1+1 articulated fingers with molded palm tabs for increased gripping stability
- 360-degree waist rotation
- Hip joint axis swings forwards for extended leg articulation
- Core Fighter transforms into Core Block and combines with the Gundam torso; cockpit hatch opens to reveal pilot figurine
- Beam Sabers detachable from backpack for handheld use
- Beam Rifle foregrip swings left and right; mounts onto rear waist armor or shield via flip-out joint
- Super Napalm attaches to the Beam Rifle
- Bazooka with pivoting handle; mounts onto rear waist armor via flip-out joint
- Shield mounts onto the backpack
- Heatproof Field panel on front crotch can be opened
- Compatible with Action Base 1 or 4 (sold separately) via included adapter
- Compatible with MG G-Fighter (sold separately)
