Gundam - MG 1/100 RX-78-02 Gundam (Gundam The Origin Ver.)

The MG 1/100 RX-78-02 Gundam is a Master Grade release based on Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's reimagining of the original Gundam as depicted in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. This kit introduces a unique inner frame and joint design that achieves exceptional forward, backward, and lateral torso movement, setting it apart from previous RX-78 Master Grade releases.

Kit features include:

- Double-sided ball-and-socket head joint for expressive movement
- Shoulder joints that raise upward and pull out to swing forward and backward; each shoulder armor features an opening upper panel for better articulation clearance
- Fully articulated fingers on all hand parts
- Double-jointed elbows and knees
- Hip joint axis swings downward for extended leg articulation
- Three-piece feet for improved ground contact posing
- Cockpit hatch opens to reveal the included 1/100 Amuro Ray pilot figurine (seated)
- Both beam rifles and hyper bazooka can be stored on the rear waist armor
- Shield can be mounted on either forearm, the backpack, or the rear waist for storage; can be built right side up or inverted
- Left beam saber rack on backpack can be swapped for the shoulder cannon
- Firing effect parts included for the Gatling Gun, Shoulder Magnum, and left arm Vulcan
- Compatible with Gunpla LED Unit (sold separately) to illuminate the camera eyes
- Compatible with Action Base 1 (sold separately) via included adapter
