The MG 1/100 Re-GZ Unicorn Ver. is a Premium Bandai exclusive that brings the 2001 MG Re-GZ up to current Gunpla standards with updated parts based on its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Featuring newly molded components throughout the head, torso, and legs, this release corrects the proportions and articulation of the original kit while adding the Back Weapon System for a complete loadout.

Key updates include:

- Head: Entirely new mold with improved proportions relative to the body
- Torso: Updated exterior parts with new abdomen joint for better articulation range
- Legs: Updated armor parts with new joint components for improved range of motion, particularly during transformation into Waverider mode
