Premium Bandai unveils the next SPEC II variant in the RG lineup — the Sword Impulse Gundam SPEC II from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom, built on the same molds as the RG 1/144 Force Impulse Gundam SPEC II and arriving in a striking bold red colour scheme. Secretly modified by Erica Simmons at the request of Cagalli Yula Athha, the SPEC II upgrade brings significantly improved battery capacity and a dramatically reworked Variable Phase Shift Armor.

The visual overhaul is immediately striking: the original white has been replaced almost entirely with red — including the V-Fin — while the chest and shoulders are finished in a commanding black. Despite these changes, the Sword Impulse SPEC II retains every combat capability of the original, with the full Sword Silhouette equipment ready to deliver its signature close-combat devastation alongside a comprehensive weapons loadout. The Type 35 Prototype Advanced Railgun, High Energy Beam Rifle, Mobile Shield, and twin Folding Razor Anti-Armor Knives provide outstanding versatility for display and posing.
