One of the most unique and culturally significant GunPla releases in recent memory — the MG 1/100 Musha Gundam Mk-II Tokugawa Ieyasu Nanban-Dogusoku Ver. draws its design from the historic "Nanban-Dogusoku" armour displayed in the treasure room of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, believed to have been worn by legendary shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa during the Battle of Sekigahara. This Gunpla was donated to Nikko Toshogu Shrine to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" World Heritage registration — making it a genuinely historic collectible.

Sharing select molds with the MG 1/100 Musha Gundam Mk-II, the kit features a newly moulded helmet faithfully replicating the iconic Nanban-Dogusoku silhouette. The primary black body closely mirrors the original armour, with black and chrome plating applied across the body and armaments for a sleek, polished finish. Red details — including the Kusazuri (grass skirt) — are accented with authentic Japanese washi paper stickers, and the Mitsuba-aoi (Three-Leaf Hollyhock) Tokugawa family crest is faithfully depicted with a glossy sticker.

Articulation is exceptional: the shoulder joints feature a movable axis that dynamically follows the arm's range of motion, and the thigh armor links to knee movement with a sliding mechanism, enabling a wide range of dramatic samurai action poses.
