Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Premium Bandai presents the HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Adapt — tying in with the recompiled theatrical screening of Urdr Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger and the special short Intermission Wedge.

Following the severe damage sustained during the Battle of Edmonton, Barbatos was repaired and restored by Tekkadan's mechanics to continue operating on the front lines. In its Adapt configuration, Barbatos wields large and small swords supplied by Teiwaz — weapons used specifically for collecting combat data through the Gundam. Both swords can be stowed on the thrusters for a distinctive storage display pose.

The inner Gundam Frame has been substantially reworked for this release, with improved range of motion across the neck, torso, and hip joint axis. Joints previously using polycaps have been remoulded in KPS plastic for increased durability — making this the most articulated and battle-ready Barbatos in the HG lineup. The kit ships with full-colour box art illustrated by chief mecha animator Hiroshi Arisawa.
